From Rees’ blog: The Modern Language Association of America is recommending that URLs not be included in citations because they change or are cumbersome to use. People Google for the author and title anyway.
Rees also cited another blogger, Kent Anderson, who recommended in the latest version of the MLA handbook that print no longer be considered the default medium of publication.
